The 2007 Cynosure
Screenwriting Awards BroadMind Entertainment (BME), a
Los Angeles-based film and television production company, seeks to expand the
scope of mainstream cinema by recognizing scripts with distinctive and challenging screen roles for both women and
minorities. As part of that ongoing effort, BME is proud to sponsor
the Ninth (9th) Annual Cynosure Screenwriting
Awards, a competition that offers two $2500
prizes to quality character and concept driven screenplays showcasing female
and minority protagonists. Congratulations to the Grand Prize Winners of the 2007 competition: Paul Gulino (Minority Category) for THE LOST BRIGADE, and Christine Wenger (Female Category) for THE LION AND THE EAGLE.
