The 2007 Cynosure Screenwriting Awards AWARDS There will be two $2500 cash prizes
awarded: one to the best feature-length script with a female protagonist and one
to the best feature-length script with a minority protagonist (either male or
female). The Semifinalists in each category will receive the following services from Sellascript.com: - Total Script Express

- Placement in one issue of the Hollywood Bugle
- Six month access to the Sellascript.com Writers Rolodex
This package is valued at $1125. ENTRY GUIDELINES Open to all writers in any country. Scripts by multiple authors are accepted, and
any awards, if given, will be divided equally among those writers. All
writers must sign the entry/release form. Screenplays may not have been previously optioned,
purchased or produced. More than one script may be submitted, provided
that a signed entry/release form and application fee accompanies each
submission. Scripts may be submitted under one category
only. If the script qualifies for both, choose the category that best
describes the overall spirit of the screenplay. Scripts must be registered with the WGA or with
the US Copyright Office. Scripts must be the original work of the
applicant(s). If based upon adapted material not in the public domain,
applicant(s) must attach a statement attesting to their rights to make such
adaptations. Sponsors do not investigate or attest to the authenticity of an
applicant's statement of authorship or rights. Entries must be accompanied by a signed ENTRY/RELEASE FORM,
application fee, two title pages (see below), and (optional) self-addressed,
stamped postcard for acknowledgement of receipt of submission. No other
materials will be accepted. SCRIPT GUIDELINES Screenplays must be in English only, and may be
of any genre. Please do not send originals; materials will not be returned
for any reason. Screenplays must be in standard U.S. screenplay
format, between 90 and 130 numbered pages, fastened with two or three metal
brads, and bound between two blank card stock covers. No handwritten
or faxed manuscripts will be accepted. Submit two title pages. The first page, with the
title only, should be attached to the script itself. The second page, with
the title, author's name, address, email and phone number, should be
unattached to the script. The author's name must not appear anywhere inside
the script itself, including the inside title page. MAILING GUIDELINES Send all submissions by mail only to: Cynosure

each submission. Make check or
money order payable to "Cynosure Screenwriting Awards". EARLY DEADLINE Postmarked by 03/24/07: $45 Postmarked by 05/05/07: $50 EXTENDED FINAL DEADLINE Postmarked by 07/20/07: $55 Submissions postmarked after 07/20/07 will not
be accepted. JUDGING A panel of industry professionals from Los
Angeles-based studios, production companies and agencies will conduct the
judging. Winners will be notified by September 12, 2007. Results will also be posted on this
web site. Sponsors, their families, and associates are ineligible for any
