RELEASE AGREEMENT

I/we are the author(s) of the screenplay, titled above, which I/we herewith submit to the Cynosure Screenwriting Awards (the "Competition"). I/we are the sole exclusive owner(s) of all rights hereto and I/we have full right and authority to submit the screenplay to you. I/we will indemnify the Competition and its Judges and hold them harmless and defend them against all claims, demands, losses, costs, damages, judgments, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with any and all claims of third parties, whether or not groundless, based on any stories submitted to the Competition or any screenplay developed out of such stories. I/we understand that the Competition accepts no liability whatsoever for non-receipt or loss of my/our screenplay and I/we hereby agree to remain fully liable in connection therewith. I/we further understand that the Competition will not return, and is not obligated to return, my/our screenplay (or any other materials submitted to the Competition) to me/us. I/we hereby agree to abide by the decisions of the judges of the Competition with regard to the Competition. I/we hereby grant the Competition the nonexclusive right to use my/our name(s), photograph(s), and likeness(es) in connection with any and all publicity and promotional activities regarding the Competition. I/we have read, understood and complied with all guidelines and rules herein, and failure to do so may result in disqualification.
