The Organization of Black Screenwriters was formed to address the lack of black writers represented within the entertainment industry. The primary function is to assist screenwriters in the creation of works for film and television and to help them present their work to the industry.
Founded in 1979, Frameline is the nation's only nonprofit organization solely dedicated to the funding, exhibition, distribution and promotion of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender media arts.

are now being
accepted for the CAPE Foundation's 10th Annual New Writers Award (CFNWA)
a partnership
with Fox Entertainment Group.
